As hard as it is, I think you should just trust that he will purchase the remaining pieces.  He knows he needs to do it and he sounds like a generally reliable person.

@Sutsip – we are date twins!

I feel your pain! My fiance just bought his belt, socks and dress shirt YESTERDAY!!! We leave for our destination wedding on Tuesday morning. Looks like I’ll have one more load of laundry to complete now before we go…grrrr!

    Congratulations!!!

At least it’s just the shirt and shoes and not the whole suit! Try not to freak out too much–everything will work out. 🙂

Going through the same thing …. we still have 14 days, but I agree that this kind of stress is unnecessary. but like y’all.. I need to trust that he will get it done. He is missing a shirt, tie, and shoes for the wedding (and I believe a whole outfit for the rehearsal dinner…. ~biting my fingernails~

@Mrs.LemonDrop: Yeah, it’s his wedding day. You just have to trust that he’ll make it happen!  I would be pretty stressed about that, and would probably not be very nice to him until then (I tend to take my stress out on my FI), but he’s so excited about the wedding that I know he would do it (eventually)!

My Fiance is a terrible procrastinator and it drives me nuts. Honestly, I’d probably just pick out a shirt and shoes for him and be like “Wear this.”

Did it work out? I assume it did.

I’m not getting married until next March but I kinda wish I could pick out my suit today. I love an excuse to get a suit.

Mine didn’t get everything until the week of. I just say they are grown and can figure it out.
