So our venue holds 120. With that number, the “dance floor” would be in a public round area (its a golf club patio, so golfers would be passing through to the club area). At first I was OK with this, but we recently toured the place when another party was going on, and I didn’t like it so much. Now, with 100, the dance floor would be on the patio with enough room for the marcha. This would be ideal.
However, our guest list comes out to exactly 100. I’m worried that we’ll probably end up with around 85 or less? That seems too little. But crazy me also worries if we invite more, we open up the whole can of worms. On paper it would look like 120, but these are people who bring along “& family” even though its not stated. Plus, all those invites would be on FI’s side and I would feel like I were at one of HIS family reunions instead of our wedding.
Should we try to invite the extra, or just stick to our original plans?
