Cry. But seriously, it would depend on the circumstances, i’m not a zero tolerance person because I think every situation is different. Firstly I would always look at the relationship and see if we had been distant, if there was any stress or pressure we needed to work on. I think alot of things can be fixed if both people are willing to try and I honestly believe too many people give up too easily. As long as no one has checked out and both people are willing to fight for the relationship, then most things can be fixed in my opinion. Obviously if we are talking about cheating over a long period of time with multiple women then I would end it, but in general I wouldn’t jump to the conclusion of leaving. I know many people (aunts, uncles, coworkers) who have been cheated on, some were long affairs, and most of them managed to fix it. And their relationships are stronger than ever. I dont think its necessarily the end.

I am entirely financially independent so I stay with my partner because I want to and not because I have to. If he cheated on me, I’d kick him out and never look back. Life is too short to spend with a cheater.

We both agree that pretty much the only thing that we would divorce over was infidelity. (Obviously extremes would warrant divorce too, like taking all our money and blowing it, but that’s very unlikely.) Unfortunately we’ve both been cheated on by exes and it’s just not something we would tolerate. Of course in my head I think of all these great revenge plans but in reality I would just divorce him and move on. I honestly don’t even think I’d put up a huge fight over our things. I’d just want to be done with the whole thing and not look back.
