    It would make no difference to me. I'd keep it the way it is.

    I would still like it, but would probably change the stone in question.

    The stone goes! I wouldn't wear it again until a genuine stone is in place.

    I don't think I could wear it again even if the stone was changed.

    I wouldn’t mind.  Not all of us can afford expensive jewellery.   It is the meaning behind the pieces which are more important to me then the stones.

    Like many other posters, I wouldn’t have been happy if it was purchased or given under the impression that it was a “real” stone, and whether it was the jeweler (selling a fake stone as a real one to Fiance, I would absolutely sue or at least report it to the police and get all $ back, in addition to leaving terrible reviews everywhere I could) or my Fiance (he’d be in trouble) would depend on how I reacted.
