@Corilee13: Yes! voo doo!! this is the perfect reason. you must have them, and we need pic’s too!

I think you should make plans, and put down deposits, and then let everyone know. I would be the most accomodating to grandparents because being old is hard, but everyone else should just suck it up. and once you announce your plans are made in stone, I highly doubt they will still skip it.

I sympathize with your fiance, I hate any conflict and I always try to make people happy but it makes it so much harder to plan.

@Corilee13: Don’t use duct tape; masking tape won’t stick to their skin.  ๐Ÿ™‚

In all seriousness, I’m sorry you’re going through this.  ๐Ÿ™  (((hug)))

@Corilee13: And it is my dream venue. Its only 3500 with no site fee and completely gorgeous, why would I turn that down for a grange hall with cracks in the ceiling and mud all over the walls.

I ask this will all due respect.

Are you freaking crazy??? *slap, shoulder shake, slap again*

These people are using emotional blackmail and your guys poor FH, is falling for it. The answer is NO, Nyet, Naa. No matter what you do them they are gonna find something to freaking complain about. How dare they! Urghhh I really hate family sometimes. Trust me I know its not easy standing up for the “right” thing when everyone is trying to make it seem like your the one being unreasonable. Your so not.

@Corilee13: lol, yeah, neither my Fiance or I am passive about stuff.  Everyone says he’s a “nice guy”… uh, no. He ain’t! LOL!

My brother is favored over me, so I completely understand.  AND, he thinks that he can still bully/push me around.  Nope, sorry, not gonna happen.  He tries that, he has to deal with my Fiance.

Anyone watch “Deadliest Warrior”?  If it were my brother and my Fiance, my Fiance would win hands down.  (I confess, it’s one of the biggest reasons I’m nuts about him, lol!)

Go with the gorgeous dream venue!  And the donuts? OMG, I LOVE DONUTS!!!!  except they don’t love me… I end up sick because they’re so fatty and I have no gallbladder ๐Ÿ™  It sucks… and yet I still eat them.

GO WITH THE VENUE!!!!!  That is a freaking amazing price!!!!!  DO IT DO IT DO IT!!!!!!!!!
