I need some suggestions. I was planning on doing my own hair for my wedding but because it’s so short, I can’t get it to cooperate! I posted pics already and threads of hairstyles I was trying out, but now I can’t decide. I have a bob-type hairstyle and when I tried on my dress I felt as though I didn’t even need to do anything special with it because my hair just went with my dress. Now, I can’t get my birdcage veil to cooperate with me in any hairstyle I do, the plain veil I got just looks stupid and I really hate it, and now I’m wondering if I wear my bob semi-normal, maybe a little curled or something, that it’s going to be too plain.
So, here’s a pic of my hair…what would you suggest? its a little shorter in the back than it was when I styled it in my previous posts, so I can’t do those hairstyles anymore. I’m so stuck. ugh

i think something like this would be beautiful!

I second that! Your hair isn’t too short to add some texture to it and put it back in some way or other. Short hair can be really beautiful and I actually like short-hair wedding styles over long!

@cubaneli: I second this!

I liked the super-romantic style you did with the curls 50’s kind of look. I think that was perfect for your dress and your veil.

Since you plan to use a birdcage veil, how about a pretty, vintage finger wave? I absolutely LOVE this look!

I think you’re hair is pretty awesome the way it is! It also really suits your style of dress. I do understand if you decided you want something more than the everyday though.
Hope you’ll post pics of what you decide.
Not that I don’t love your hair but what happened to the wig you were going to wear?

How formal is your wedding? Any vintage feel to it? Not sure how intricate your birdcage is or if you’re adding a flower with it…
Really depends but lots of options for short hair.

Argh, tried posting photos a million times but WeddingBee keeps freezing.
If the finger waves/vintage type feel is what you’re going for, what about this?

I was thinking maybe soft waves or mayb even finger waves or something of that sort. Or I might just end up wearing it straight since it’s easier lol!.
@kermie: I was going to wear a wig, if I ended up buying the one I wanted. The one I want it gorgeous and $200! Since I can’t buy it I won’t be wearing it, and my Fiance said that he wants to see ME on that day, not me with a bunch of hair. So the wig is out of the picture. =/ lol
And the wedding is pretty formal, very classy, a few vintage touches here and there, but it’s also not over the top formal either. If that makes any sense. lol And thanks for the help ladies! I’m sure I will figure something out sooner or later.
