Well, last weekend I cleaned and put my apartment back together.  And watched the olympics, of course.  I took my dog on several long walks, which he appreciated.  I also tried a few new (easy) recipes.  I relaxed a lot, which was nice.  None of my friends could do anything either, so I didn’t go out and do anything fun and exciting.

@discodance:  Haha I take advantage of his absence to clean as well. It’s my only real opportunity to pull ahead of the mess!

My fiancé works nights and I work days so I did myself with lots if free time. I usually fill my alone time with baths, wine, reading, click-flicks, andcuddling with our dogs : )

I relax on the couch and watch girly shows.  I veg out on foods that I don’t eat when Fi is around (cheese fries..yum).  I check out weddingbee alot.  I also do things that I like and Fiance doesn’t – laying out in the sun reading, crafting, etc.

Fiance is having his bachelor party this weekend, so he’ll be gone for 3 nights.  I am looking forward to the time to myself πŸ™‚

I like to give myself hair treatments and do my nails πŸ™‚ It gets very intense so having lots of time for it is a must lol

I would clean up our apartment, watch some of my favorite TV shows and chick flicks, and get takeout from my favorite restaurant. I might go shopping and do a bit of redecorating, too. πŸ™‚

Last weekend Fiance went to vegas with a few friends, none of my friends were around for the weekend so I did pretty much nothing! I watched the first season of Girls on HBO Go and sat around relaxing. I also got a mani/pedi. I loved it!

My Darling Husband is frequently gone on business trips all weekend, so I clean, orgnanize cabinets, catch up on laundry, etc. That way when he’s home we get to spend all our time together and not worry about cleaning.

Last weekend I repainted my doors. lol. I seriously get so much done when he’s not here!

Sleep!  Also, I catch up on an entire week’s worth of Days of Our Lives πŸ™‚

Actually, my weekends typically start with a long run on Saturday morning, followed by a substantial breakfast and a nap with the dogs.

Then I get up and take the dogs on a walk (or more likely, hang out with them on the couch & watch a movie).

If MrDane is out of town, I meet up with a girlfriend for lunch, or go to the pool & try to grab dinner with a friend.

Sundays I try to sleep in a little, then go out to brunch.  Apparently I eat a LOT of breakfast foods!  Sundays are my day to clean the house, chill out, do laundry, and catch up on Days.

Darling Husband goes to school on the weekend so I get to have them all to myself. My favorite thing to do is sleep! pig out and watch girlie shows that Darling Husband can’t stand. haha. And if the schedules work out girls night with wine and lots of gossip. πŸ™‚

I’d plan a day of self-care for Saturday.  I’d try to find a groupon for some beauty deals (mani-pedi, haircut, facial, massage).  After pampering, I’d go to Target and TJ Maxx to cruise the clearance racks and see if I can find anything else for my bridesmaid survival kits on sale.  I’d order Thai food for dinner (FI won’t touch it) and watch a movie that Fiance would hate.

Sunday, I’d sleep in super late, read the paper while awful wedding shows like Bridezillas, Four Weddings, etc replay on TLC and Style.  I’d clip coupons, make myself brunch, do dishes and pickup around the house.

Nothing exciting, but enough to fill up my time and relax!
