So I am having a mountain/country/vintage wedding. The property has horses that get to roam around quite a bit, like this lovely guy here:
Isn’t he sooooo cute!
Anyway, I know I do not want to over-do the horses idea and wasn’t quite sure how I would incorporate them. But then I saw this on Etsy:
They are chalkboard horses, if you will. So cute! I already have escort cards, so that is taken. I think I would like to buy one or two and put them somewhere…and I also have no idea what I would write on them.
What would you do with them if you were me?

Well, first of all, I wouldn’t buy them. I would DIY them. You’ll save a bunch of money that way.
Get plastic horse figurines and chalk board spray paint. You can find the chalkboard spray paint in the spray paint section at a hardware store or places like Walmart.
I think it could be cute to have them in front of your place settings and have one say “Mr.” and one say “Mrs”.

Did not know there was chalk board paint..Thanks. But I also have special place setting signs for the bride and groom. I was thinking something more fun that our guest would see. But I don’t know what.

Are you having a buffet? If so, you could use them as the labels for the food… Can you incorporate them into your centerpieces? Could you have them on the table by the guest book or by the card box?
