I could use some advice.
I work as a nurse at a LTC facility and I’ve been there for 5 years now (but only 3 months as a brand new nurse). I work the overnight shift, and this particular shift at my facilita has had its fair share of drama. I’m a pretty laid back person and just try to stay out of it all.
However, one of my coworkers recently approached me and said that Person B told her that person A told him that I went into the office and complained about person c (see how ridiculous this sounds already?)
Obviously, this is completely untrue. If I ever had an issue with someone, I would take it to them directly before going to management. I was really hurt, ESP because Person A was someone I felt close to (although she is knothings make up things and stir up trouble, which I’m finding out now)
So my question is, how would you approach this situation? Would you approach all 3 people? Should I let person c know that I never went into the office about them? Or just confront the person starting the drama?
A similar incident happened previously with both person a and b.. Same thing with person a starting the drama, and person b repeating it. (and person b is a man!!)
I know how ridiculous this all sounds, and I should probably just ignore it, but I left work in tears this morning because it really upset me. 🙁
