Lmao! Reading this and all the replies has me in tears! I completely understand where you’re coming from, when I have something specific in my head and it changes I get so worked up!

My SO tries so hard to help, but sometimes it’s just easier to do it myself. I asked him to “start the rice” one night… He said we didn’t have enough brown rice. I told him to add white rice with it. His response “can you do that?! Will it cook the same?! Will it be okay?!”. Oh hunny… Go back to watching tv…

@lalalyanne:  the only other thing he ever cooked,  we each made half a picnic to share.  He found a recipe for wraps and didn’t scale it down at all- so we had wraps for eight!  (Would have been good leftovers if I didn’t hate mayo, a main ingredient. Poor guy,  “you don’t even like mayo on other stuff?” Does he eat it plain?  Lol)

Lol tbh I’d be disappointed as well since I would’ve been looking forward to it all day. A for effort ? Dh made me steak one time & he put a crap load of A1 sauce (he loves salty, I don’t ) I felt bad as I was woping it off.
