My absolute favorite that I’m wearing now is a purple/blue/indigo center stone depending on what I’m wearing it with with a small cirlce of chips around it on a silver chain. This is similar, as I don’t know where she got it form, but the stone is round. https://www.etsy.com/listing/130919493/cobalt-blue-necklace-bridesmaid-necklace?ref=favs_view_23
@Ohiogal1201: I am doing a combo of same and different gifts. Each girl is getting a beach bag, but they will all be different patterns. I also plan on getting each one a zip-up hoodie to wear while getting ready, but they will all be different styles/colors/brands to match each girl. My girly girl friend will love a PINK hoodie, while my less girly friend would like something loose and nuetral. They are similar gifts, but will be tailored to each girl.
I have been thinking to give a Thomas Sabo charm for each of my bridemaid. It won’t be the charm though. I will pick one accordingly to their personal style.
Since I don’t wear a lot of jewelry, I would prefer a unique gift.
@Ohiogal1201: I think it depends… on a lot of different factors.
I was in a wedding with eight other BMs, and bride and groom pretty much paid for the entire wedding herself. All of us girls got the same gifts – but they were super nice. She clearly took the time and effort to think about us. BUT she also made sure she got the best deals, to keep the price down.
She got us: Hoodies; sneakers; a Coach wrislet (from the coach outlet) and silver jewelry (etsy).Hands down, best Bridesmaid or Best Man gifts I have received.
As a repeat Bridesmaid or Best Man, I have gotten a lot of… interesting gifts. I think part of the issue is what the bride might think is so cute and awesome, isn’t always what the gift recipient thinks.I think the key is to think about what THEY would like… if it’s all the same thing, then fine. If it’s not, then that’s also fine.
Also, please keep in mind, if it’s for YOUR wedding, ie: jewelry to wear for the wedding, it’s not a gift. It’s something for your wedding.
