catchyscreenname:  I think light grey would look good, and that color is fairly casual

a dusty light blue would be beautiful and very country chic. If you went with silver or black, which are common pairings, it might look pretty fancy. Yellow in any shade is the natural complimentary color to purple… sunflower yellow would DEFINITELY be country and beautiful 🙂

Grey or gold would look really nice. Maybe like a sage green as an accent color to go with the purple and grey?

onthefritz:  I agree! My first thought was a light gray if you don’t want turquoise or something.

I was thinking light grey as well!

Or maybe a light gold/champagne?

catchyscreenname:  I love this color! My bridesmaids wore plum dresses. We also did other shades of purple, such as lavender and wisteria. And yes, gray or mint green would look great with it too!
