Fiance is turning 30 next month and I want to do something big since It’s kind of a milestone. I have two options I am seriously debating so please give me your input!
Option 1: Pay for us to go to Dinseyland. We haven’t been since last year and I know he loves Disneyland.
Option 2: I just saw a Groupon for a hot air baloon ride with complementary champagne which I would follow with a nice dinner.

Option 2!! Especially if you’ve never done that before.

Disneyland! But that’s just me. I love amusement parks and riding on rollercoasters. It would depend on what your Fiance likes. I know my Darling Husband would freak out if I wanted to take him on a hot air balloon (he hates heights).

Oh man… Hmmm. I think I have to think about that and come back later to answer LOL Tough call!

Hot air balloon ride! I love Disneyland, but I’ve been so many times before. Plus I really hate crowds. The hot air balloon is fun and romantic!

I think a hot air balloon ride would be a ton of fun! DH would never go with me though because he doesn’t like heights.

@Blondee: I think I would be the one to freak out in this case. I get butterflies just thinking about it but I know Fiance would love it.

The thought of going up into a hot air balloon terrifies me to the core. Disneyland it is!

I am not a “Disney person” so this was easy to answer.

If he’s okay with heights the hot air balloon ride would be cool. I am terrified of heights and would spend the entire time sitting on the floor of the basket trying to convince myself I wasn’t going to die.

Disneyland!! It’s fun and whimsical and youthful. Just the way to greet a new decade.

Disneyland because it a day long fun activity for the two of you.
I’ve been on a hot airballoon ride and there are some things that most people don’t consider before going.
It’s only as amazing and fun as what the balloon is flying over. So if this is out in Temecula, you’ll just be flying over nothingness, some houses and a vineyard or two. Nothing amazing to see. Also you won’t be alone in the basket. You’re packed in with other people. There is just enough room to turn around but nothing about it is particularly romantic. It’s short. an hour and a half at most.
So while I definitely recomend a hot airballoon ride somewhere that’s worth seeing, ( we went in Turkey), I don’t think it’s the right choice in southern california or for a romantic purpose.

I voted Disneyland. DH an I live in Florida, and both spent our thirtieth birthdays at Walt Disneyworld.
