What kind of things would you wan’t to see in the buffet at a reception that will go from around 3:30 until around maybe 7ish? We will most likely going to be bbqing hamburgers or having a roast pig if that makes any difference.

start with appi type things- fresh veggies, crostini, etc
salads, great breads and rolls
pasta or rice dish
fresh fruit for dessert-
if you do hamburgers, a burger bar with all sorts of toppings and sauces

Personally I always like having ice cold Pepsi and I’m a sucker for Cabot cheddar cheese and triscuits. Also anything kabob style (veggies, chicken, beef).
So fancy, right?

Mmmmm bbq buffet… off the top of my head:
- salads: green, potato, caesar
- baked beans
- maybe some grilled pineapple, that would be awesome with the bbq pig
- corn on the cob

I love kabobs! I’m trying to convince Future Father-In-Law to bbq and do these for our rehearsal dinner. Chicken, steak, shrimp, veggies, mmm so many possibilities.

I love the idea of a veggie platter. I’m always at the front of the line, demolishing those bitches.

It’s a cabbage salad with ramen noodles, bean sprouts and a delicious oil dressing. It’s one of my favourites!

Spinach salad, veggie/fruit tray, burger bar sounds delicious! Lemonade, soda, bread and butter (can you tell I’m hungry?)
