We’re just going to relax at home. Maybe splurge on ingredients for dinner but aim not to spend a lot of money.

Mr. t & I just moved at the beginning of the year, so my parents are taking the long weekend (we’re all OFF for Prez Day!!) and coming to visit us and check out the new digs.

Not sure the exact agenda, but we’ll prolly take in a B’way show one afternoon, go out to a nice dinner and check out some museums (typical NYC visit).  Because I’m becoming a “proper lady” now, I feel the need to do some domestic things as well, so I’ll make brunch one day and dinner one night (even though we don’t have a table to sit at…).  My mom gave us a Newlyweds game for Christmas that I’d like to play one night even though we’re not married quite yet.  All in all, a laid back weekend with 3 of my top fav people (and my 2 dogs who will each get a Vday treat)

We’re going skiing with two of our friends…not exactly a private romantic weekend, lol. But it’ll be fun regardless!

Nothing. FH has been given the chance to run the weekly church show at his work on Sunday (usually he lets his crew do it because he knows they enjoy it and you get paid triple time to work on it) and we really need the extra money. So we’re going out the next weekend to see the Chinese New Year celebrations and we’ll combine Valentine’s Day with that.

Not sure yet! I lost a bet and have to plan our vday date haha. We both really hate planning dates so we make a lot of bets. 🙂

We agreed on no presents so probably just dinner and a movie or maybe comedy show or something. I’m not too creative.

@CorgiTales, make dinner together! FH and I did that last year and it was the best Valentine’s we’ve ever spent together (after 3 years!). Steak with pesto sauce and I found a chocolate pudding recipe with bits of meringue in it and we put on a movie and had champagne. It was excellent – but then, we both love to cook!

@littlemissmoo- yea…. Fiance doesn’t really cook. I mean he thinks he can cook… he’s willing to cook… but for both of our sanity we just agree that he doesn’t cook because it always ends up… not so good. and then we both get frustrated haha. And I cook good dinners a couple nights/week so I really don’t want to cook on vday 🙂

We’re planning on doing our engagement session I won on the 13th and then maybe hiking later on in the day. And on the 14th- early dinner somewhere and then home since I have an exam the next day for nursing school.

I don’t know that we have plans.  My Boyfriend or Best Friend wants a “naked day”.  hehe.  But I think he might have something else up his sleeve…

We leave for a week-long tropical vacation on Feb. 12. So we plan to spend Valentine’s Day lounging on the beach, snorkelling and drinking mojitos. I can’t wait!
