I was 100% sure I wanted a tea lenght dress with sleeve and lace….then I tried one  on. Being 5’3″ with what I consider manly shoulders I realized I looked like a hobbit linebacker. Not cute. I tried on this dress and fell in love

I actually bought a dress that I had pinned on Pinterest for months! Haha

Didn’t realise until afterwards! I’d pinned a load of Mori Lees and picked some out in the Bridal shop with some other designers, but the one I chose was one of my original picks! πŸ™‚

legojedi:  Thanks!  Can’t wait to get actual pics of me in it.  I had the back altered from keyhole to open and keep bugging my seamstress for a second fitting.

I wanted a all red lace mermaid dress. I was NOT backing down on my red dress dream.

Then I started shopping and found out how hard it was to find my dream dress without custom ordering it online and praying when I put it on it would work.

So now I have a white lace and beaded dress with a killer back and a deep v sweetheart front. A little part wants to dye it red. But I am happy with it. Today I get to try on my dress since it came in.

pussinboots83:  Hobbit linebacker #3, reporting for duty!

I was CERTAIN that I wanted a mermaid. “Little in the middle”, you know? But every dress I tried in that style just made me look at my arms (I hate them).

I was frustrated, and totally not expecting to find my dress at my second appointmen, especially not in such a different style!

I am pretty good at knowing what works on my short busty body, so shape wise I got what I went looking for.  I knew I wanted a corset back fit and flare and that is what I got.  I had seen lots of Stella York and thought that was what I wanted and even picked a salon that carried those, but ended up with a San patrick dress.  I had straps that I had never really thought of having.
