I’m Korean, he’s Northern Irish (nationality). As for ethnicity, I’m reasonably sure that all my ancestors were Korean (though you never know, maybe some of them were naughty). My SO’s dad’s family is originally from Scotland (way back though) and his mom is from the Republic of Ireland.
