I think it is more about style of rings than brands.  I am girly and feminine and like things like that.  So my rings are pink or warm metal, and have milgraining or hand engraving etc.

@Coral99  lol, I have multiple set now, yes.  Embarassed  Thank you very much.  My first set is all diamond, the rest are moissy center and diamond sides.  My first set is beautiful but not so much me.  It is heavy, and I really like more girly.  DH said I could reset, but I feel so sentimental about it, so I just started getting additional sets instead, lol.

@jcent  I agree, I think it is about the style not the brand. I think my ring says that I like tradition but also like to be unique. It shows that I like to think outside the box and go outside the norm.

@jcent  Good God, they are gorgeous. I’m sitting over here salivating. I’m thinking why didn’t I see these before we went shopping?! Hahah. I love my ring…Love it. But I love rose gold/warm metal. My band will be rose gold and I cannot wait. I might pin your pic on Pinterest to help me remember the style I like. I really like the band in the upper left.

@Coral99  Thanks!  pin away.  🙂  That band was custom made.  With french cut diamonds and tiny pink diamond rounds.  Here is a better pic of it.

Oooo I like this, my ring is a custom design by a local jeweler here in Minneapolis. My Fiance designed it with her personally and I think it turned out Beautifully! The perfect mix of my love for all things charming and vintage and his sleek modern simplistic ways (even tho he wont admit it but he is a HUGE sucker for anything 1920-1930s)

My style is very classic and simple. I wanted a solitaire because I feel like they’re very classic and I also wanted a stone that’s unique- which also represents me.

@MissXray  I love the vintage and modern influences!  Your FH did well, melding both design styels together like that.

My ring is not ‘name brand’.. but I think it says that I am unique, yet traditional (it is a black diamond, so it’s still a diamond… right?)

I don’t have a pic to share, but mine is not a brand name…I did NOT want my engagement ring to say “Brand name!!”…for me, that was the wrong message. FI designed the ring himself and worked with the jewelers at every step of the process. So, my ring says “My Fiance is freaking amazing!!” 🙂 The feature diamond is also very high quality (normal sized) which, together with his unique setting design, indicates both of our general life focus on substance/quality, attention to detail, and avoidance of showiness/gaudiness.

@thefemalebenfolds  Oh no!  I hope I don’t come off as “high maintenance!”  My fiance says I’m not very high maintenance, so I guess that’s what counts!  Wink

@thefemalebenfolds  I do have a Tacori (as you may have guessed from my above comment).  I see Tacori rings as having more of a vintage look, and they are very intricate and detailed (though that can be said of several other brands as well).  I’m not sure what my ring says about me personally, but I do love all of the things I mentioned (which is probably why I was so drawn to Tacori rings in the first place).

Here are a couple of pictures:

My ring says that I like detail and SPARKLE!! I’m an artist so I can be quite the perfectionist!
