A Poufy Ball Gown

What it says: A bride who picks an over-the-top wedding gown is telling everyone she’s queen for the day. You better stay off the floor during her first dance (or you may get squished by the dress!). —- haha funny! but I don’t disagree, it’s the only day I’ll be the queen for the day, even though I prefer princess 🙂

@lindseyl06:  what’s yours?

I refuse to sign up for the knot or whatever that wedsite was it would only let me look at two pages. I don’t need more wedding crap sent to my inbox.

I do not remotely agree with any of those desciptions. I think it’s very snarky.

I wore a ballgown, had a small low-key wedding and was not even remotely a bridezilla.

I usually dress pretty revealing and tounge in cheek so I choose a “classy” wedding dress. I have the tinsiest bit of regret cause there was another one that I really like but was a little too va va voom! HUMPH. I shoulda gone with the va va voom, it was way more “me”!

A Body-Hugging Mermaid Skirt

What it says: This girl is a combination of elegance and sophistication, but she also loves to show off her sexy side. Especially since she’s spent months in the gym perfecting her hourglass figure.

Love it!  Now, I’ve spent YEARS in the gym and even teach group fitness, but I’m not quite hourglass yet.  The dress helps it looks like I have an hourglass though.  Sexyiness is downplayed by the neckline on mine and that it’s a fit-and-flare more than a true mermaid.

Yeah I didn’t care too much for the assumptions and undertones of the whole thing. Stereotype much?

**Poofy Ball Gown lady here….not a Bridezilla.

I think we’re taking this a bit too seriously, it’s supposed to be a funny article, kind of like what you might find in a Cosmo magazine.
