I’m getting my man a really nice watch. I know that’s kind of cliche, but he really wants one. Otherwise, I’d come up with some more clever and non-traditional lol. I would LOVE it if my SO got me a kitten for a wedding gift haha! I LOVE cats, too! I’m always begging for a cat, and he doesn’t want to get one until we’re more settled into a house where a cat can go outside (we’re in a condo now).

I’m stumped on this one too! I bought Fiance a nice new watch a few years ago, and he has yet to wear it. It’s just not his style. I’m interested to hear what other Bees say!

We agreed not to do gifts the day of. I was trying to work it out that we could rent a Dodge Viper to surprise him with to play with all morning, but it didn’t work out. They are very hard to rent.

I am giving my Fiance a locket with his parents who are deceased inside so they will be with him the day of the wedding. He will be able to carry them with him from that day on. It was the only thing I could think of that would be special and would mean a lot to him.

EDIT: My Fiance parents were inseparable they did everything together and even died together. So this was the best choice for him.

I don’t think we will do gifts. Since we are paying for almost everything ourselves, our wedding will be the gift 🙂

We weren’t going to do gifts. But I saw a great deal on an engraved pocket watch, and he’s mentioned a couple times that he’s always wanted one, so I had to jump on it. Then I warned him that I had gotten him a little something,  so he wouldn’t be mad and now he’s convinced he has to reciprocate. So I’m excited to see what he comes up with.

I think it’s a great thing to give wedding day gifts to one another! So sweet! But I am stumped as well!

I was thinking of giving him cufflinks, pretty typical but I found Jedi ones and he loves Star Wars so I think he will like them.

My Fiance has already picked out his cuff links and bought a watch to go with the theme of our wedding, so those are out. (plus I buy him those things for Christmas every year it seems).

Im putting together a little box of things with a nice card. I’ll have a new scent of cologne that he’s never worn, so that it’ll always remind me of our wedding day when I smell it in the future. A pair of socks so he doesn’t get cold feet. A pin with a picture of his mother (passed when he was 17). A new pair of aviator sunglasses. And something else, haven’t decided on the last thing yet.

My Fiance sounds similar to yours – casual and not into high end accessories. He’s definitely a man’s man so cuff links aren’t going to work. I have absolutely no idea what I’m going to do. i bought him a watch a few years ago that he never wears – what is wrong with these men?! I love the sky diving idea! It’s something he’ll never forget! He’s getting me a necklace with my new initials. I’ll wear it to our reception 🙂
