A friend of mine just moved in with her on again/off again Boyfriend or Best Friend of 6 years. I hope it works out for them and want to get them something cute for Christmas. They seem to have all the kitchen and dining room type stuff already. I’m having a hard time thinking of something good to get for them. They are both 29 and a cute fun couple. Any ideas would be a great help!!

Maybe some board games, those really cute antique wooden book ones from Target might be both fun and decorative!

How bout a really candle and a good bottle of wine? Or a nice picture frame… and wine? That is tough, I had the same thing happen so I bought them a nice carafe and wine glasses.

I’m not sure how much money you want to spend, but maybe something like an ornament for their tree? Since they’re just moving in together, they probably don’t have many ornaments — or at least any that are for the two of them.
If you’re looking for something more, you may want to consider browsing Etsy for some fun original artwork they can hang in their home.

board games, i vote for a bottle of wine and perhaps a cheese carving set… i know the one thing that M and i don’t have is serverware for when we have guests.. a lot of people say the chip and dip bowl is cliche, but ummm i don’t have one lol!!!

I don’t know how much you are wanting to spend or whether they live somewhere where they can even use it, but I’m gonna say firepit. LOL Fiance wants one so bad he can’t stand it, and it’s like the only thing we don’t have at our house already!

I like the Christmas ornament idea. Or how about a door knocker or a doormat?
How about a candle & a joke to put it in the bathroom since she’s living with a boy now? LOL 🙂

Wow thanks for the responses! I was leaning towards a bottle of wine and something else cute, but then found out they have like 15 bottles on stand by already. I don’t know if they would love another bottle to have on hand, or if it would be just another bottle. The ornament idea is nice, I never thought of that and I know they will be decorating soon. They seem to have plenty of glassware, artwork and pictures/frames up already too. Towels is a good one too, I’ll have to try and figure out how stocked up they are in that dept. Thanks again for the ideas, they are all great keep them coming!

a set of addres labels or address stamps, depending on the couple. (if they’d want separate ones or their names together.)

I love the ornament idea, it’s sweet.
Maybe if you have time you could do a personalized gift basket? I love making and getting gift baskets I love being crafty and I think people appreciate me taking the time to create something unique for them.
Something like the movie gift basket picture attached.
You can get the cute container at Target or Walmart then fill it with goodies and a movie or movie gift card.
I’ve also made coffee baskets with different coffees, mugs etc, Icecream baskets with icecream dishes, scooper, gift cert. for icecream
Also so items don’t fall out I get the shrink wrap and wrap it all up with a cute bow, it looks professional!

I think that if you know their colors sheets, comfortors, and towels are great; something of a higher threadcount than what they might purchase for themselves.
