The Hangover, I just don’t get the appeal.

It took me much longer than everyone else I know to watch Pretty Woman…I didn’t mind it, though definitely understand your reason for not liking it.  Oh, and along the genre of romantic comedies, I really didn’t like He’s Just Not That Into You.  Like, it really bugged me.  But then again, I’m not a fan of many romantic comedies so I don’t think I can really give an opinion.

I have to say, though I generally like indie/drama/whatever type movies, I didn’t really like Lost in Translation, or Me and You and Everyone We know.  I know many people who loved both, but I just didn’t.  Maybe I need to see them again?

That would have to be Napoleon Dynamite for me. Just not my humor I guess :-/

I am really not a fan of Monte Python’s Search for the Holy Grail. I don’t know, usually I love all kinds of funny movies. I am really not picky, but for some reason I just didn’t think it was all that great. I know it’s supposed to be epic, but I wasn’t impressed. Although I think I was against it before I even watched it since so many people couldn’t keep from going on and on about it. And I watched it in a bad mood, so that probably didn’t help. Still didn’t hit my radar as a “great” movie though.

@simpleandchic:  I think Will Ferrall is a really funny guy, though I also find most of his movies to be really annoying.  Though I do really like Elf.  🙂

@MissHoneyBun:  Awesome.  🙂  I’m glad I’m not the only one.

@KatyElle: OMG!!! Me too… the very first thing that crossed my mind as soon as I read the thread title was… Julia Roberts movies, especially… and then I clicked and saw you put Pretty Woman! I don’t like it. Never did. Never will. No matter what anyone says.

And, like some others, Avatar was neat-o to look at, but come on… not exactly dynamic characters or… well, I’m stopping here…

I admit: I’m a movie snob. I prefer independent and foreign films and the literary analyist/anthropologist in me really comes out when I deal with movies.

I couldn’t make it through the first half hour of Avatar and I was on a 17 hour flight… that says how I felt about that one.

Also, The Hangover.. I think maybe people built it up for me too much, and Old School
