Haha, it’s when you are the last person to post on a thread and no one posts after you.
If you’re the last person to respond in the thread – that’s known as the threadkiller.
You can figure out how many threads you’ve killed by clicking next to your user name where it says ‘view your profile’ and if on many threads it says you last repled ___ hours ago. No replies since . , then you’re the last responder.
ah! is there another connotation, such as on the post when she feels people have been rude to her, or is it usually just coincidence, like it ‘ages out’?
I have killed 2 threads in my last 40 posts! That’s amazing for me! Normally it’s like 10, I’m getting better!
Haha…I’m always a thread killer!! I thought it only happens to me!
I think that sometimes when we “kill” a thread we feel awkward about it. It’s almost like during a conversation, there is an awkward silence and you were the last person to speak.
I got over this feeling though π
I definitely fit into this category π But I like to think of myself as the ‘final poster.’ π Sounds better.

LOL @ Daisy Bride… awkward silence! It is, sometimes I’m like “was it something I said?” “Am I not that interesting?” but someone has to be the last to post so sometimes it’s me.
I have another weird view….sometimes I spend a lot of time searching for something (like a color of shoe) for someone…then they never post back…and I wonder if they ever saw the post of me trying to help them!
Now that I’m long gone married…I wish I had sent some PM thank yous to anyone who was EXTRA helpful to me on WB! π
I bet I’m going to turn into quite a thread killer. It’s just because I keep finding cool threads after they’ve been dead for awhile. It’s because of that “related posts” feature…I see something that looks interesting, and then I just have to reply….
like in this case-the thread is a month old. π
Hey Banana its okay.. i was doing that for an hour today and aint no shame in posting on old boards that you find interesting π you open them back up for us!!
