I chose emerald because that’s what I have and I love it.
I chose emerald because that’s what I have and I love it.
If I were to get a diamond, it would be a round brilliant. It’s a beautiful, classic style. Because I have that preference, of the styles you have listed, I most like the oval.
Emerald. Classic and classy. My next choice would be a pear.
I’ve got an asscher solitaire so I have a soft spot for step cuts. There’s something so special about their sparkle, it’s looks like a hall of mirrors.
@labossanova: Oval, always oval. Oval is best because it’s my current favorite.
But that said, I am always attracted to emeralds, they are to me the classic diamond shape, and classy as well.
You can put in carat weight, diamond shape and ring size and it willshow you what the diamond looks like on your finger.
Make sure you see these shapes of stone in person.
I picked Emerald. They look super classy on a solitare.
Oval or round.
Emeralds are my favorite, but I really prefer them with side stones to offset it. I think I would choose a pear over an oval. Round is definitely my last pick.
@labossanova: I have a pear and I love it. When Fiance and I were researching he encouraged me to try on different shapes, and when I tried the pear I knew that shape was it.
I would go to a jeweler to try on the different shapes and see if one speaks to you over the others!
Here is my pear.
I think ovals are awesome, as long as they’re not too long. RB isn’t the only round cut, though. OP have you ever seen a Solasfera?
