MoissaniteCo is wonderful. I’ve never used BTD, but I have no regrets or complaints about MoissaniteCo.

I used Moissanite Co. Their customer service wasn’t the greatest and it took a while for my ring to ship, but I am very happy with the ring itself.

BTD and Moissco are not owned by the same people.

BTD’s signature product is the Asha – a very high quality cz. Within the past year or two, they started selling the Amora which is a specially treated Moissanite stone.

Moissaniteco.com and Ashadiamonds.com are owned by the same people. They have one site where they sell BTD’s Asha product and another site where they sell Moissanite. They will also set whatever other stones are sold at BTD (for now) – sometimes they do, sometimes they don’t.

I have rings from all three sites and am pleased with all of them for the most part. As for the stones, I prefer Moissy to Asha and diamond to all of them. I like my BTD rings the most but their customer service is a PITA. I’m pleased with the weight and workmanship. The MoissCo rings are pretty but ordinary IMO.

The Fiance ordered my stone from Moissaniteco and it came fast and I was very pleased with it.

He ordered a 1ct amora.

MoCo!  Betterthandiamond doesn’t have a huge selection of set moissy and their forums are so convoluted because the owner/main guy/whatever of BTD is constantly posting negative things about the other moissy retailers.  Also, after I gave a really nice review of my moissy experience on the BTD forums, my account was mysteriously banned the next day?? I tried to contact them, because I do enjoy looking through their forums, but the picture for the “type in these random letters and numbers to verify you’re human thingy” <captcha> picture was broken and now I can’t get my account restored!?  Seems fishy to me…

I think it depends on what you want to order.  I’ve heard good things about Moissaniteco.  My centerstone’s from Better Than Diamond and I’m very happy with the quality of the product.

For settings, I would go with MoissaniteCo. I feel like they have a lot more. I was going to get a setting from there, but Fiance ended up finding a jeweler who worked with him for two months on a custom design.  Fiance got my centre stone (Amora) from BTD though, because at the time, I was on a waiting list, and BTD happened to contact me first.  They shipped it very fast.  He ordered it Thursday, and got it Monday and we are in Canada so it had to cross the border too.
