I am not a Starbucks girl, I very rarely go there because its so expensive! I love coffee, and make it at home all the time. I normally do Folgers Gourmet ones, and change up the flavor. But I am thinking about buying a regular one (like Folgers or 8 O’clock) to mix in with the Gourmets.
So, what kind of regular coffee do you ladies make?

For making coffee at home, I’m a big fan of columbian & LOVE Yuban!

I worked for an espresso distriutor for a long time so I’ve been conditioned to prefer espresso over everything else. When I want regular american-style coffee I grind espresso beans very coarse and brew them in a french press. Segafredo is a favorite brand of mine but I’m also partial to guatemala antigua when I can get my hands on it.

I’m just a regular old Folgers kind of girl. I’m not a fan of flavored coffees, I usually just drink it black.

hands down Green Mountain

For some reason Starbucks coffee always tastes burnt to me! I love Cafe Bustelo. Strong and cheap.

i only buy local (and by LOCAL i mean purveyors who roast their own beans on site), so when i am in pittsburgh i buy my coffee at La Prima in the Strip District, but when i am home in charleston, i buy Chucktown Coffee. i think it is so important to buy local, and it also helps reduce your carbon footprint when the demands are met locally 🙂 i do loves me some coffee! i use a french press or my espresso maker. yummm…having some now!

I am a coffee freak! If I’m making it at home I prefer Green Mountain Breakfast Blend. My best friend is currently in the Peace Corps in Nicaragua so she will bring me back some coffee from a local factory down there and it is AMAZING.
If you are just looking for a good place to grab coffee, my Dad and I swear that Sheetz coffee is the best! I don’t know if you have a Sheetz where you are but they are fantastic!
We actually don’t have a Sheetz nearby, I think the closest is about 45 mins away. I’ll have to check it out when I am in the area though!
I usually try to buy organic whenever I can, but don’t know of any local shops where I could purchase it from. I’ll have to look that up, because its something I would definitely do

I drink Starbucks alot, but I do make it at home and when I do I use Gevalia. It’s super yummy!
I like Gevalia as well, I even have their coffe maker! But I hate the fact that you have to be on their autoship. I like to mix up my coffee, and sometimes I don’t use to as much, so then I have so much of it and I have to call and cancel. Its so frustrating

i love sheetz!! ahhhh! not their coffee, but man….that is one thing they don’t have at the beach! me and Fiance always say “if there was a sheetz here, our lives would be complete!” nothing beats that 3AM MTO!

Do you have a Trader Joe’s nearby? They have great coffee – there’s a Hawaiian blend that I love and their “cup of joe” is tasty and neither will break the bank.
