What do you eat for breakfast ?
For the last month I have been eating the same thing every morning:
– One boiled egg
– One toasted whole wheet bagel
– One slice of cheddar cheese
– Decafinated coffee with almond milk
I look forward to breakfast as i tend not to eat carbs with dinner unless in form of mixed veggies.
The breakfast keeps me full till lunch and feel pretty energetic, stomach is flat and bathroom time is pretty regular (sorry TMI).
Yesterday I decided to switch it up a little and instead, I had Kashi Almond cereal with Almond milk.
I felt slugish and tired all day. Too full, bloated, and not even one trip to the bathroom through the whole day!
I just experienced first hand how important breakfast is and what we eat. I can’t imagine feeling like that every day!
This morning, I went back to my regular routine and feel great!!!

Mine was a handful of dried apricots and a special k breakfast sandwich. i have been trying really hard to eat breakfast and it usually upsets my stomach but this seems to be working!

Sometimes it’s a smoothie woth protein powder, or poached eggs with multigrain toast.
This morning it was scrambled eggs with a little cheese and salsa in a wrap that I toasted once wrapped.

On weekdays, something quick and no-cook. Sometimes a banana and peanut butter toast. Sometimes greek yogurt with granola and honey. Sometimes cereal.
On weekends, I like to get up a little later and cook a big breakfast with eggs (poached or scrambled), bacon or ham, and toast or pancakes.

usually it’s a hard boiled egg, toast, and coffee. when i’m feeling a little crazy, i’ll go for whole wheat cinnamon raisin swirl toast and coffee! 😉

through the week, I’m all about overnight oats! So good, so filling, and healthy. I usually prepare them with almond milk and chia seeds, and throw in some variation of nuts, berries, coconut, peanut butter, and a bit of protein powder for taste.

I love to make an egg white omelette with spinach, tomatoe, mushrooms, ham and cheese mmmmmmmm otherwise I will have porridge with banana and honey

Bacon everyday, sometimes a hardboiled egg white and sometimes fried egg whites with a dash of cheese when the work cafeteria has omlette day. Yay keto/low carb!
