Have a brisket in the crock pot as well speak. This is my first time making brisket though so we will see lol. Having that with mashed potatoes and carrots. Pasta is my go to meal when I don’t have anything planned.

I have a ton of work to do tonight so I told Darling Husband he’s cooking. Usually he makes fish when he cooks because I don’t care for fish that much so I don’t make it often. My guess is he’ll make baked salmon, squash and zucchini, and rice. But I’m secretly hoping he makes taocs.

Fiance is out of town tonight so it’s just my son and I, so something probably super fast and simple. Love nights like that. 🙂

I have nothing planned, a couple of chicken thighs that need cooked so I’ll do that and then probably throw something together with what’s leftover in my fridge. I’m not feeling well as the day goes on so I may not be up for eating much anyway this evening.

hunting_bride :  I like to cook enough for the week so everything’s made except the kale (I like mine cooked) but the options are homemade chicken noodle soup, fettucine and pork ragu, and baked sweet potatoes with no bean chicken chilli. I saw a recipe for sloppy joe sweet potatoes floating around on facebook and tried it, but my husband didn’t like the Manwich sauce so I decided that a chilli would probably be just as good and it is! The pork ragu is easy to make and I do two pork tenderloins at a time so I have enough to freeze for another week.

Leftover homemade cheesy potato soup with bacon bits and crackers. One pit made enough to last me a week!

Tomorrow I’m making garlic noodles with chicken and tomato.
