The Guy and I both love to cook (I cook through the week and he takes weekends) and my repertoire of dinner recipes is constantly changing and growing, and I’m always looking for new ideas.
Tonight I’m making a standby: sausage jambalaya with some roasted brussels sprouts (we love us some brussels sprouts).
What’s on your dinner menu tonight?

We both had a sh!tastic day to say the least and I really don’t feel like cooking, but I’m going to make a thai coconut curry shrimp over basmati rice with garlic na’an. I’ve never tried this recipe before, but really, I can’t see how it could be bad!
For dessert we have brownies and ice cream (that’s the comfort at the end of a bad day thing).

Tonight is Chipotle. I usually cook, but we’ll be out of town Thursday-Sunday, so I didn’t want to have leftovers or cut into packing time.

I spent the last six hours pre-baking for tomorrow, so we’re having a simple dinner tonight: fajitas!

Yeah..it occurred to me right after I posted this thread that a lot of the American bees are probably grabbing something to eat or making a simple meal in light of all the travel/prep for tomorrow’s feast (we had our Thanksgiving back in October)! Fajitas sound yummy!
Sorry about the crappy day 🙁 That meal sounds delcious though and I can think of very few things that brownies and ice cream wouldn’t cure!

Add in a glass of wine and everything will be manageable. Grrrrr. I’ll deal with it, LOL! Thanks hon!

Such yummy meals 🙂
We are having leftovers tonight. I have been baking and preparing other food for tomorrow, so I am all cooked out at the moment.

Tonight for dinner is order in chinese. I am working on the last 4 hours of a 16 hour straight shift today at work, and I am EXHAUSTED!
Cannot wait to be off work, and get to sleep in tomorrow!

@hergreenapples: Btw, since you’re in Ontario, if you’re in Loblaws look for their new President’s Choice brownies that you bake in the oven (they come refrigerated so I bet they’re in the bakery section), DH said they were $3 a tray (cuts into about 6 good sized brownies). Omg they are to DIE for. I love the caramel pecan ones. I’m SO addicted. So great for PMS/bad days! LOL!

Russian Chicken…yummy! And Coldstone for dessert!

@hergreenapples: I’m making a favourite of mine and my SO – shredded chicken tacos!
Here’s the recipe. It’s freakin’ delicious!! If you make it, don’t skip the lime part because it just adds a certain something.

OMG – those sound DIVINE. It’s so lucky I didn’t read this any earlier, as DH called a few minutes ago from the Superstore to ask if I needed anything…I would have begged for those!
Um, YUM! Can’t wait to try this to give us a break from our normal fajita and taco recipes. Thanks for sharing!
