We have leftover ground pork and beef from home made burgers last night, so I was going to throw together a bolognese sauce. BUT my best friend is coming for dinner and she’s on a diet, so the sauce may have to wait a day to get eaten while we eat salad with flavoured tuna on it πŸ˜‰

ETA – I haven’t even had breakfast yet and you’re talking about dinner…. Tongue Out

We’re going to make Shish Tauok.  It’s my favorite meal at the local Jordanian/Mediterranean restaurant, so I’ve been mixing different recipes lately to try and make it the same way the restaurant does.  =o)

Ahh dinner already? It’s only 10:18 AM! 

I’m hoping maybe I can convince him to do a picnic date night in our family room and get a huge sushi boat takeout. It’s a date night we’ve been meaning to do for a while and he has a job interview today so I’m hoping we can either do it as a celebratory date night or as a consolation date night.

We’re having burgers (I have mine without the bun, Darling Husband has his with) with some sauteed mushrooms and onions, salad and eggplant oven fries. I am obsessed with eggplant fries at the moment!

ETA- This reminds me that I need to take the ground beef out of the freezer..oops!

We’re going to Macy’s Scan for a Grand Event so we’ll probably end up eating out. Most likely Jason’s Deli which is delicious. 

Monday night we had apply bbq baked chicken with honey butter biscuits and macaroni salad. Tomorrow night we’re doing sweet & spicy rubbed pork ribs (trying out the rub that we’re think about using as favors!) YUM

I’m making either a quick and easy lemon-sauce chicken or something on the grill! Either way we’re having fresh-ish green beans because they need to be eaten! πŸ™‚

Thanks..this reminded me that I forgot to marinate the fish I had intended to make for dinner tonight. Soooooooo now I will have to keep checking back for inspiration as to what we can actually eat tonight. *sigh*

Haha, well… I had originally planned on making Chicken Teriyaki. However, Darling Husband forgot his lunch (delish leftovers from last night’s dinner) at home today & had to buy lunch. So as a punishment we are eating our lunch. I went out for lunch today also, so I have leftovers. Yummy yummy πŸ˜‰
