Italian sausage and spinach gnocchi. Our favorite dish – DH just found out today what his last day at his job will be, so I made our comfort food. Seriously, we love it so much we can’t help but smile while we eat it ๐Ÿ™‚

husband has class tonight and won’t be home until like 10 so I’m on my own for dinner! I made some black bean taquitos (frozen from Trader Joe’s). I’m super lazy lol.

Last night I made chicken piccata, garlic mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. The piccata was great, got the recipe from here:

http://norecipes.com/blog/chicken-piccata-recipe/

I did reduce the lemon required by half (we don’t like our food too tart, and I omitted the lemon zest completely).
