socalgirl1689:  My SO and I are having some friends over. I’ve got some pork loin in the crock pot to make pulled pork sandwiches and I also made some potato salad. Our friends are bringing coleslaw and a second side that she hadn’t decided on.

I’m also excited because my SO bought me the ramekins and butane torch to make creme brulee two Christmases ago and I finally got up the nerve to try it out!! ๐Ÿ™‚

Costco pizza and beer since its our monthly shopping trip. Its exhausting buying almost a month worth of groceries at once but it keeps us from eating out regularly having all the options in the house at once.

annabelle90:  Very cool that you shop like that!

Fiance and I are totally out of food and need to go shopping tonight. I’m thinking either salad, or vegetarian tacos. Probably with pineapple, because any time we go shopping Fiance buys a pineapple and cuts it open ASAP instead of helping put the groceries away, lol!

socalgirl1689:  We usually go out for supper Friday nights. But, I had a couple moles removed yesterday and am in some pain today (and working), so we will probably just order something in, and stay in.

I’d be OK with anything!

Im flying home from a business trip today and will get home around 7. I think my husband is doing sous vide steaks and roasted veggies.  I hope he has it ready when I get home!

socalgirl1689:  I’m making chili! It’s going to be about 18°F here tonight so it’s definitely a chili night. I jokingly told Fiance we were going to red lobster. He’s never been. But definitely chili too cold to even think about going out.

Leftover cheese pizza for me! I’ll probably add in broccoli, corn, and some fruit to make it healthier DH will be gone for his 2nd shift at work by the time I get home, so he’ll have to fend for himself for dinner.

Well, tonight we are going out for dinner for an early V-Day date since I work this weekend. But yesterday I made an awesome miso-glazed salmon (for the sauce mix minute miso, mirin, rice vinegar and some sugar) then bake the salmon and broil at the end to make it crispy, with bonito white rice, and sauteed soybeans. Sooo good.

And earlier this week I bought butternut squash ravioli and made a sauce of brown butter and sage, and tossed it with garlic-sauteed broccolini. Delicious and really easy!

I’m making risotto! My wife observes Lent so I’ll put shrimp in, she likes to have fish on Fridays.
