Sadly, probably takeout for me. My hubby is out of town, and I have an aquasize class tonight so I likely won’t have the gumption to actually cook.

EllyAnne : we were doing Blue apron for a while and the wasteful packaging is a big part of why I stopped. We got some great recipes, though!
Tonight, we’re having Galbi- Korean Beef Ribs – made in the slow cooker- they come out so tender! I’ve been putting it off for the last couple weeks but my husband had an intense work week so I decided to pamper him.

Friday is pizza and movie night around here! Spaghetti and pot roast are on the menu for this weekend though.
I made a peanut butter sheet cake last weekend that was TO DIE FOR though!

We try to make Friday’s our Date Nights and we usually like to cook together as it’s more fun and cost friendly than going out. Tonight we’re making pan seared garlic butter steak with scalloped potatoes and sautéed green beans with a couple bottles of wine!

im constantly getting inspo for dinner from pinterest… This is one of husband and I’s all time favorite dishes.

I forgot to put some meat down this morning to thaw from the freezer. So… honestly not sure. We have a ton of stuff to make salads… and non animal protein sources in the pantry… so usually I think of stuff on a whim I can create out of that in these situations.
So maybe some pintos and salads!? Maybe I will swing by the store for some corn meal too and make some corn bread. Welcome to the south! Haha.

But really…probably mostly wine. Going out to the local winery tonight with friends. Not sure if we are partaking in their “beer and grilled cheese” night (they actually have like 8 different styles of gourmet grilled cheeses) or just going to the regular part of the winery/restuarant.
We’re Catholic so no meat today and I don’t like fish/seafood so my options for filling dinners are super limited. So I’ll probably drink my dinner and nibble on some cheese tonight.

Since I had my daughter in January, most of our meals have been quicker ones (ie frozen LOL). Now that she’s 3 months old, I’m finding I can juggle my time a bit easier and am finally getting into a routine. So tonight we’re having homemade Shephard’s pie and we’ll have enough for leftovers tomorrow so that saves me from cooking again.
