Just curious to see what everyone else is making on this hump day. My little bro is coming for dinner so we’re having homemade beef stew and cornbread and then for dessert strawberry angel food cake with fresh strawberries and homemade whipped cream. Yum!

I have no idea, and it’s driving me crazy. have some ground turkey in the fridge, but have no idea what to do with it. I’m a terrible cook… bah!

Penne alla vecchia bettola courtesy of the fabulous Ina Garten! I already made/roasted the sauce last night, so today I just need to reheat, add some spices and the cream (yum) and puree in blender. Cant wait…

Leftover pasta with vodka sauce (and a bunch of spinach wilted into it). We’re leaving town for a week on Friday, so we’ve avoided grocery shopping and are trying to eat up anything in the fridge that might go bad.

I spent all day thinking about the enchiladas I was gonna stuff in my face 🙂
Naturally.. .when I got home, I found I only had one can of sauce and needed 2.
So meatloaf it is, with buttered noodles and carrots.
If I lived in a ‘real’ town I would’ve gone to the store or picked something up… but it’s 20 minutes to the little store and 45 to a big grocery store.
So meatloaf it is. FI’s pretty happy about that!
