I’m lucky too that my Fiance and I have generally the same styles. Sometimes I look quirky things, but we learned to make my quirky things mix well with our apartment.

Overall we shoot for neutral. I watch a lot of HGTV, and I love their ideas.

Uh, well…

My initial reaction was: Hard! Lol. We’ve been living together for a long time but we just got our first actual house a few months ago so we’re taking our decor more seriously.

He wanted to put his display case in the living room. I almost died initially. But then I figured out a way I was okay with it (placement, what was in it, etc) and so…there began our compromise.

Color-wise we’ve ended up with what I call “pretty neutrals.” Color choices are more tailored to him (though we generally like similar colors) and design elements are more me. So, for example, our bedroom is primarily navy blue. But we’re putting up a metallic-y wall paper, I chose the pictures, the throw pillows. You get my drift. It’s like masculine-ish colors done pretty! haha.

I realize I made no sense. Lol
