Ok so everything is paid and planned…Married bees any words of wisdom or things you forgot to do or wish you did differently? I feel like im going to forget something HUGE for the wedding…any advice or things to do within the next 12 days…what did you make sure to do the 12 days prior to the wedding? Did the time go quick or slow?

Uhh okay really. I made day-of itineraries for all our wedding party, vendors who were going to be on site, our DOC, etc. I highlighted the time/item for where each person needed to be at what time and wrote their name on the top. Have a couple of spare copies on site as well. I also put a contact info sheet with EVERYONE’S name/phone numbers on the back as well including vendors. That way if something didn’t show up, anyone in the wedding party, parents, etc could call and get the issue sorted out.
Also, if you’re bringing any decor, etc up to site, put it all in big rubbermaid bins and label the outside of each bin with a marker with a list of what’s inside. Group them according to the area of the venue it’s going to so they can just be stacked in the correct spot rather than 5 items in one bin going to 5 different areas of your venue.
You can’t be too organized 😉

Make yourself a packing list of what you want to bring with you as well and have it handy so you can add things to it when they pop into your head.

Best wishes, it will all be wonderful, and if anything goes wrong just remember that it will STILL be great.

one thing that really helped me was being able to bring stuff to the venue early so i would check with them and see when you can get in there -for us we were the only wedding that week so we were able to start bringing stuff as early as wednesday for a saturday wedding, that really really helped unload some stress
another thing i forgot to do was write thank you notes to my wedding party! i left them as a last minute thing to do before rehearsal dinner – what i didnt expect was for that day to be crazy busy and i barely had time to get home, get ready and get to the church – i ended up having to give them to my girls the day of the wedding. so i suggest wrapping gifts and writing notes prior to the craziness of the wedding weekend.
pamper yourself! go get your nails and toes done, relax with your Fiance and just take it all in – it will go by quickly.
