It’s a beautiful ring. I would say .80 to 1ct. If your going to insure it th e technical information is important but don’t let it overshadow this happy time in your life or your love for your F.H.
curioustoo : Wow your ring is gorgeous! Please don’t let the ugliness of others and their comments damper this exciting and wonderful time. Its just the nature of the beast on this site sadly. With that said, my guess is 1.0+-1.20. I think it has great finger coverage and your finger size is very average not big not small and I think it looks, to me, bigger than a carat. Some diamonds have really thrown me for a loop in the past, but I am pretty good at guessing too LOL I guess I must stare at rings too much . Your fiance will give you the specs when you need them and I am sure he would if you really pressed for the info, but there is so much PRESSURE on men to buy the right ring and right size and carat weight etc, I am sure he was just wanting you to enjoy it before getting hung up on the specs. Its a huge purchase and for a lot of men a very prideful purchase that can instantly be tainted with feeling like he didn’t buy a “good enough” ring. I like your ring a lot and it looks perfect on your finger. Did you give him lots of hints or did he do this all on his own? Either way you got a beautiful ring.
That’s pretty good finger coverage, I’m a size 4.5 and mine’s about 0.8 with less finger coverage. I’d guess yours is at least 1 carat. Congrats!

What on earth are you talking about !!??? No one has said anything remotely negative to OP and most have admired highly and added even a cautionary note re the specs for insurance . I can only imagine you are projecting some issue of your own. “nature of the beast on this site’ . Really!
Take a metric ruler and measure across the stone. 1ct is 6.5mm across.
I will send a message 🙂
