I am super excited before tomorrow will be the first July 4th that I have seen Darling Husband in 4 years! He used to work for pro baseball, so it was right in the middle of his season.

We are going to another cookout tomorrow, so I don’t have to do a thing.  Woohoo!

@Linz1231:  Oh, he doesn’t anymore?  I thought about you guys the other day when I was watching baseball.  Enjoy your holiday together!

I have NO idea what we’re doing food wise.  I work tonight so I’ll come home and sleep until about 2ish.  I know we are going to Seaside Heights to walk the boardwalk and watch fireworks on the beach.  It’s going to be super packed, but the hell with it!  πŸ˜‰  Have a great time everyone!

I’m going to have a go at doing something tasty for my husband. πŸ™‚ Someone suggested pulled pork.

@Rouquine:  Unfortunately he got released back in November.  But all is well! Thanks for thinking of us πŸ™‚

We got burgers, hotdogs, pulled pork, and brisket from a local butcher.  I’m always going to make buffalo mac and cheese, and we have coleslaw, assorted veggies, and watermelon!!  A friend is also bringing fish and more fruits and veggies πŸ˜€

@SpecialSundae:  Pulled pork sounds like a great idea.  I would’ve done the same if we didn’t just have it.

@Linz1231:  Oh, so sorry to hear that, but glad things are well!

Now that I think about it – I think I’m going to do sausage, peppers, and onion!

@Rouquine:  I suspect it will be followed by lots of Ben and Jerry’s.

@Rouquine:  Thanks! It was very unexpected but we couldn’t be happier with the way things are now.  Plus, I get to see him the entire year now, not just 6 months of it πŸ™‚

@AudzinLuv:  How fun! I love going to those!

Steaaaaaaak. I think we’re just doing steak, corn on the cob, and garlic bread, but it’s only me, my parents and my brother so we don’t need a ton.

@Rouquine:  good luck in Seaside! I was there last night (and I fell walking back to the car and busted up my ankle) with my entire family- I was surprised it wasn’t that packed, but I’ve been there on the 4th and it’s crazy! Hopefully it won’t be too bad since it’s in the middle of the week πŸ™‚
