zzar45 :  yea I agree with this. If I tell my D H exactly what I want then what’s the point? But Christmas is our only gift giving holiday between the two of us so this is the only time of year I expect to be surprised.

I wish Santa stepped in at USCIS headquarters, issued my work permit, and sent it my way. I have been patiently waiting for 4 months like a good girl, I promise!

lifetimegoals :  it on its way, I promise! Any day now. I just got mine. And my SS came with it. So now I can drive legally ๐Ÿ˜‚ Our Interview is on my birthday next week. So I hope we will have to celebrate more than just my birthday!

I don’t have a list per se as i don’t want much (i hate having a lot of “things”) but I gave him a short list of “stocking stuffers” eg kitchen aid things, a yeti mug, pj. Also my “list” is not just a Christmas thing. We are a mixed household so we celebrate Hanukkah as well. Plus my birthday

I already got the Hogwarts Lego (in-laws), a DNA kit and the PJs for Hanukkah. What I really wanted but was to frugal to spent money on it yet, was the kitchen aid soda streamer but there’s no matching box under the tree yet. I also wanted 2ctw diamond studs but I want the diamonds to be from Lightboxjewelery and they haven’t come out yet with the 1 ct pendants so I am waiting for Valentine’s Day.

My birthday is just before Christmas and we usually go skiing during the holidays so we open all our presents on my birthday. Last year was a huge thing because Hannukah also fell on my birthday so it was a gift extravaganza.

For my husband I had a motorcycle helmet custom made in Germany. They say it’s on its way but it’s DHL/USPS so it might not make it. Maybe I should start to pray to the postal gods and maybe sacrifice a virgin and a steak?

I got my present early. He’s already shown himself to be a bit of a high maintenance little fellow with all his diagnoses. Raised with a zillion other cats in one room isn’t a great start in life. But he’s so happy now.

rockclimberbride :  He is a wonderful little cat. There are tons of cats in shelters looking for homes. My cats are super sweet and follow me around. Cats are not all standoffish as some people would have you believe and they’re much less work than dogs. (I love dogs too)

I would like abs of steel and a night of passion with Sam Heughan ( Jamie on Outlander). If one of you bees beat me to it…. I’ll happily take Charlie Hunnam ( Jax on Sons of Anarchy).

Kitchen appliances be damned! ๐Ÿ˜‰

We do joint splurges in lieu of gifts, this year it was a pro photo shoot for us with our newest family member (doggo) and we bought some prints for our house.

My SO bought me a LV that I’ve been lusting over for YEARS. I know he did because I drove an house to pick it up and brought it home and wrapped it for myself to open on Christmas. ๐Ÿ˜‚

I hate surprises so I prefer it this way lol.

Seriously I don’t need anything. If I want something, I just buy it myself.

My husband has got me a lovely navy wax cotton coat though

I wished for a house for every holiday, anniversary and birthday over the last 2 years. Finally got the house so I require no more than a first Christmas married/new home ornament.

The only thing on my Christmas list was an omelette maker, I only make a Christmas list for my future in laws because they ask and if I don’t say anything I end up with a stupid ornament that just becomes shit to dust and I hate having shit to dust everywhere.

Oh and I also asked a talented crafting friend of mine for one of her snoods as she was making all her Christmas presents this year and they look oh so warm!

I know my fiancé will have brought me some jewellery because he does for every occasion and something for my kitchen because I love to cook.
