I’d like a new organiser and some Lush! Pretty easy to please. πŸ™‚ Have you started your Xmas shopping yet? πŸ™‚

Totally in love with Penguin’s Clothbound classics πŸ™‚

Though I’d be absolutely thrilled with some tanzanite earrings… shiny and books…

writersblock :  I love Lush, too!! Have you been to the after Christmas Sale for the buy 1 get 1 free? I told FH not to buy me any more full price Lush for Christmas and take me to the after Christmas Sale! haha. We got to the store at 8am when they didn’t even open until 10!

I hate buying stuff for myself, so my Xmas lists are always really practical items, haha. Right now, it’s a new winter coat, new socks, and a cast iron skillet. Haha. I also added the jewelry I plan to wear for my wedding. πŸ™‚

Hopefully DH is checking out my “I want” section on pinterest. I told him that were I put things I really want. I want a silhouette, some attachments for my sewing machine, a few accessories for my AR, a cart for my scooter and a cart harness for the dog, a bunch of books, and a scarf from etsy that I’ve been eyeing. I also have a bunch of geeky t-shirts on there that would make me happy.

My list is fairly boring and stuff I would normally just buy but hold off on because our parents ask for ideas: small cordless vacuum, large suitcase, one of those big rocking pizza slicers (I hate our rolling slicer), a new strap for my watch and a WI Badger tumbler and/or coffee mug.

My DH is usually great at buying me a couple of fun non-practical things so my Christmas isn’t too boring πŸ™‚

My husband has started asking for ideas too. And I feel lame because I like practical stuff-and am having trouble coming up with what he calls more “fun” ideas!

The only thing I’ve thought of so far is I’d really like a kitchen aid, and I saw him checking out the minis at Target the other day so apparently he remembers well.

I also want the new Nintendo vintage game thing too that’s coming out but so does he -so that’s definitely a perfect gift idea I’m saving for him.

  • Birdies slippers in the cheetah print
  • New large glass drinking glasses
  • Silicon muffin ‘tin’

So far that is all I have come up with. And I doubt I will ask for the Birdies slippers, because they are a bit of a splurge.

I have the longest “wish list” in the world right now. I’m pretty sure it’s long enough to cover the next 3 Christmases and birthdays! I blame it on moving into a new house- I am always thinking of new things I want to fill it with!

I want a table/mirror/tabletop decorations/umbrella stand from Joss and Main for our entryway, a camera security system we can set up outside our house, a million books, my favorite perfume (stupidly left my bottle in a hotel room), outdoor patio string lights to decorate our backyard, a bookshelf, power tools, a rug for the living room, a laser guided parking guide for our garage, new TV for our bedroom, artwork for our bedroom, and a million board games!

DH is happy because he can ask me what I want yet still surprise me with what he gets me because my list is so long! πŸ˜›
