My husband and I don’ exchange gifts. Instead we jointly buy ourselves something nice for our home. Our Christmas gift to ourselves will be a Keurig coffee maker this year 😁

FI family and my mom asked for a Christmas list this year. I just kinda stood there and said a meek “world Peace?”.

A new comforter and kitchen aid stand mixer are the only things I want.

I don’t have anywhere to put said mixer and nobody’s gotten it for me at any point in the last eight years I’ve wanted one, but I still want it! It will probably be on my list until I buy one myself.

slomotion :  We got my boyfriends daughter a jar of pickles. I bought it last week at Costco, first thing I bought for christmas. She was a pickle for Halloween. Not sure how to wrap it.

Money, always money! I love to travel so money is always a great gift for me. If I have a big trip planned (I dont at the moment) then I ask for a lonely planet book. My birthday is at Christmas too so I usually do a weekend away.

Ninja Coffee bar! Really the only thing I want because my Kerig is pissing me off.

I’m terrible at Christmas gifts, same for Fiance.. we just bought a house so that is our gift to each other, plus the fixes we want to do to make it our own.

Outside of the house, we agreed on a $100 maximum anticipating we would be purchasing a house in the future, and I think some of my requests are pretty decent.
-Victoria’s Secret yoga pants and leggings (mine are like 2-3 years old)
-Gift certificate for a massage and/or spa day (this is #1 on my list, i LOVE massages)
-Qualo ring (the silicone rings, for when I ride my horse/workout/do things where I don’t want to damage my real ring)

We’ve never exchanged real gifts before or made lists until this year and I’m really excited.  I don’t know why but I am feeling holiday spirit for the first time since I was a little kid.  And like a little kid I want SO MUCH STUFF.  SO MUCH!

My list is 99% household stuff, starting with a kitchenaid pasta roller attachment and filled in with miscellaneous stuff .  A cotton ribbon set on a nice wooden stand. Set of decorative pillar candles. Essential oils (for home fragrance). Magnetic leather knife grabber. Cake stand. Match holder and striker.  Book ends. New popover tin. New espresso cups.  Cookbooks.  Art. And more!

For personal stuff I’d love some smart wool socks and Laudano Nero perfume by Tiziana Terenzi. Also a proper luggage tag with my info all on it instead of filling out a chintzy paper one at the checkin counter every time like a hobo.

If our parents ask what to get us we are going to say a wine club subscription.  We’ve had a heck of a time keeping our wine rack full ever since he who mustl not be named was elected.

Chocolate and gift cards. I am pregnant so I definiltey don’t want people buying me clothes this year!

I always put a corgi puppy on my wishlist, but that’s not going to happen any time soon. I already have two corgi (adult) puppies.

slomotion :  I’ll fight you for those pickles.

Mostly, I want a puppy.

But, I’m on the fence. We always go all out for birthdays. Mine was last week and FHs is today. We took a trip and bought gifts too. Plus we’re going out of town for Thanksgiving and that will be another expense. Since that’s the case, I told him I thought we should skip Christmas gifts, like we did last year while we were saving for the down payment on the house. He seemed less enthused about that idea.

All that being said, I made a Pinterest board for him so he never has to ask.  🙂

I’m asking for a thermos for camping/hiking, a pair of brown chelsea boots (I already have the same pair in black and have worn them a couple times a week for years), and a wool sweater. I also have a Diptyque candle additiction so I might get one of those from my parents. I just want to be cozy!

A week at Canyon Ranch or Miraval to relax, re-set my fitness goals, spa it up and get my Zen on. Need to refresh my personal goals and priorities. Solo or as a couple, either way. He’s not the biggest fan of spa vacations, I ❤️ a good pampering, self discovery vacation. Hope you all get what you wish for and that the world has at least a season of peace and joy.
