sofabean :  I just bought myself a second pair. I love them! They’re my everyday shoe.

Normally I would say a puppy or a trip, but we “gave” each other puppies for our birthdays (SO over the puppy stage right now! lol) and we are going on a trip early December, so I would say stuff for the house. I would really love a new quilt set for our bedroom or a new bed for our guest room. I’m sure my parents will ask what I want so home decor is always good, a nice pair of boots (I am obsessed, I have like 30 pairs!), or cash!

Bascially everything I would want for Xmas is already on our registry, so I’m kinda hoping that our families will take note and use that in lieu of a Xmas list. We’re mostly talking upgrades like high thread count sheets, Le Creuset pots, nice luggage. A girl can dream!

Otherwise, I am honestly pretty stumped by what to ask for because I usually don’t NEED anything specific (at least not that I wouldn’t just buy for myself). Our apartment is tiny so I try to keep things really streamlined and only have stuff that I use actively, so it makes me sad to receive presents that just go into the Goodwill bin eventually.

I love experience gifts, so I’d be really happy with a certificate for a massage/facial/pedicure, a weekend trip, or tickets to a performance. I’d also love if my Fiance picked out something more personal for me like a piece of jewelry. He’s generous but he’s not great with gifts. We’ve mostly pooled our money toward a joint travel instead of giving each other physical presents so far.

We don’t exchange christmas presents but usually go a little more elaborate at birthdays and spend between $300-$700 at that time.

Every christmas however my pet parrot gives my SO a few lottery scratch tickets or something little 🙂

A brown leather bucket shoulder bag that is not cross body, with soft leather- not stiff. Frye has one I like.

AG jeans and free religion skinny jeans, any color.

full bottle flowerbomb or pure grace.

calvin Klein hipster cotton panties

Crema da Mano – Hand Cream

Natori cotton sports bra in nude and black

wool tights for ballet

sundance Flowing Waters Scarf in blue

gray leather driving gloves

thick dance/yoga/gymnastic mat

Anything saved to jcrew or Nordstrom

I can go on. Very excited really, because I’ve never known what I wanted and suddenly I have a whole list fr the first time.  If I get one item from this list I’ll be happy.

I want a few things from Ethique (which I have bought myself for my stocking), a nude nail polish (but I’m trying to find the right shade in a cruelty free brand), still magnificent metals, wool and knitting needles, I think that’s it? TBH I’m buying all of that for myself lol. I much prefer to give gifts, receiving gifts makes me feel sad and guilty.

We both bought new cars last month (long story) so I told my husband we really shouldn’t spend money on gifts for each other, but I know he’ll want to get me something.  I haven’t made a list yet but the only thing I want is a new pair of running shoes (yes, I’m pretty boring).

My husband’s birthday is 2 weeks before Christmas so I always have trouble coming up with two good gifts.  I saw a really nice cross body bag that he would like so I think I’ll get him that.  Otherwise he is the hardest person to buy for.

We’re doing a mid-winter get-away to FL and looking into a cruise to Cuba. That’s enough for me. I am a magpie and love sparklies, but travel is more valuable, IMO.

A Soda Stream! Does anyone have one?

My husband typically gets me new pajamas and slippers, a kitchen appliance and I always fill my Sephora basket for the Rouge sale and he will pick out some things to surprise me. Best gifts ever 😊

Nothing.
We just bought a block of land and will be building a house in 2018, so that is present enough!
