Mine’s pretty extensive:

  • cake topper
  • boutonnieres
  • bouquets
  • aisle decor
  • centerpieces
  • table decor (luminaries)
  • Invitations
  • Programs
  • Escort Cards and stand
  • Guestbook
  • Table Numbers
  • Groom’s Gift (boudoir scrapbook, cufflinks, etc)
  • Bridal Jewelry
  • Bridesmaid’s jewelry and gifts (macaron coin purses)
  • Gifts for Parents (scrapbook)
  • Favors (Caramel Chex Mix)
  • Sweet n Salty buffet (items and signs)
  • Buffet Item Signs
  • Menus
  • Bar Menu
  • Cardbox
  • Welcome Bags
  • Thank You cards

I’m sure there’s something I’m forgetting, but I think that’s most of it.  I’ve actually been really good about staying on task, so the only thing I have left to do is bake the items for my snack buffet and favors.

I’m sort of picking & choosing what we’re doing. I’m sort of crafty, but I’m a perfectionist, so I’ll do things over and over until I feel they’re perfect, so I really have to limit myself or I’ll go crazy.

– pomanders [already done]

– all signgae [guest books, photo booth, menus, escort cards, programs]

– rose petal aisle runner [started but not complete, ran out of glue!]

– burlap banners

– paper banners

– candy buffet

– chargers

– chalkboard signs

– save the dates

– guest book/wishing tree [both completed]

– centerpieces [not really diy imo, I just bought the stuff and threw it together, nothing was really crafted]

And I’m sure there’s other stuff I haven’t realized I’ll be doing yet!

My DIY list is really my mother’s DIY list. She’s more creative than me (she’s a right brained person)  and she has more patience.

– Card box for the reception

– Wishing Tree (well wishes hanging from a tree)

– Table numbers (she doesn’t know it yet)

– Turning wine corks into escort card holders

My list of DIY projects was longer, but I’ve started to just hand certain things off for other people to do because I was getting way too overwhelmed!

Here is my current list of DIY projects:

  • Chair signs for the sweetheart table
  • Strassing my shoes
  • Table numbers
  • Escort Cards
  • Board for escort cards
  • Menu Cards (mostly assembly)
  • Invitation Assembly
  • Mats for invitations
  • Envelope liners
  • Belly Bands for invites
  • Card box sign
  • Ties for the cocktail tables
  • Stand for the memory candle
  • Handfasting cords
  • Dessert table signs
  • Bathroom baskets
  • Welcome bags for hotel

I might also end up DIYing all the mercury glass votives I need, as I’m not sure I feel like spending almost $400 to purchase them.  I’m going to test this though before I decide!
