I love the keyhole back with the lace and bow! I feel like it totally makes my dress!

Two things I absolutely loved on my dress which made it unique to a lot of others were the functional buttons (not just covering a zipper) and the elbow length sleeves 🙂

I wanted something sexy, but I also wanted to keep in mind that my FI’s family is very southern baptist. I think my neckline is risqué, but because the lace is scalloped and it has a sheer mesh, it gives the allusion that it’s not THAT big of a deep V neckline. If that makes sense lol Also, I’m having a beach wedding and it is super light weight

I have a Maggie dress too and the details are what drew me in as well!

I looked high and low for a dress with everything I wanted: pretty ruffles, sparkles, mermaid, possibly a non-traditional color, back details, and this dress had it all! I actually had to order into a store to try on because there wasn’t a shop within 100 miles of me that had it in stock! But I knew the moment I put it on that it was the one 🙂

Without further ado, here’s my Maggie Sottero Serencia!

The train with scalloped edges.

I was sold on my train and the fact that the dress was fully made of Alençon lace.

My dress was gold! It had gorgeous gold embroidery and crystals. I’m obsessed with gold, so it was a no-brainer 🙂

the back is what made me fall in love with mine! I loved how it was see through and all the buttons were real, whereas the others like it I tried were a zipper.
