+1 billion to Steel Magnolias. When Sally Field freaks out… I’ve seen it I don’t know how many times, and I ugly cry every time.
The movie version (and the musical) of RENT, when Angel dies. Also the end, when Mimi wakes up. You know that it’s not a happy ending and that she will soon die from her HIV, which at that point had likely progressed to AIDS.
Walt Disney is a mental terrorist. Lion King, Dumbo, Bambi, and The Fox and The Hound.
All the animated classics, really. The Land Before Time (Littlefoot’s shadow ) and All Dogs Go To Heaven (not only does Charlie die… HE GOES TO HELL).
Anything with an animal…
Marley and Me? I explode.
Turner & Hooch? Hooch sacrifices himself to save Turner… eye leakage.
Shadow’s “almost-death” in Homeward Bound? Dead.
Basically, I am an over-grown infant.

You wouldn’t think it but Rocky Balboa, the last movie in the Rocky series. The scenes about Adrian get me choked up and crying every time. Rocky just loves her so much.

I’ve stopped watching many of my childhood favorites (Steel Magnolias, Homeward Bound etc.) because I know I’d just lose it if I were to watch them again haha.
I don’t generally cry when watching movies.. I prefer comedies and action movies… but once I was out with my friends and I agreed to go see PS: I Love You (I had no idea what it was about) and I was bawling in the theater. It was awful. I can’t imagine why anyone would want to see that.
ETA: I NEVER WANT TO SEE BAMBI OR DUMBO AGAIN… THEY TRAUMATIZED ME!!!!

Naomi Watts’ performance in 21 Grams. It rips my heart out because I have a child. I cannot watch it without sobbing uncontrollably. But she is brilliant.

I can’t believe you’re the only one who mentioned A Little Princess – I shake and cry to the ending! Every time.
A Walk to Remember is definitely on my list as well as Marley and Me, Homeward Bound, any movie with a dog… For those who love Homeward Bound it is based on the movie The Incredible Movie which is essentially the same story, but the animals don’t talk. The end leaves me basically gasping for air. The ending of My Dog Skip can get me i the same way. There’s another dog movie called Far From Home (I think?), the dog in it was named Yellow Dog on any account. In this one, the boy and the dog get lost in the wilderness and try to make it home. They end up being spotted by a helicopter who picks them up, but the dog falls from the rescue rope while they’re being rescued and…anyway it’s a tear jerker. OH and the 1994 Lassie movie gets me too.
Okay. Literally any movie with a dog.

My Best Friend’s Wedding (the part when Julia Roberts is dancing with the guy on the boat and he’s singing “The Way You Look Tonight” to her and she’s crying cuz she loves him) oh god…I’m tearing up right now…I just want to scream at her “Tell him now!! Tell him you love him before it’s too late!!!) lol
Marley & Me… oh man, I was crying SO loud and practically hyperventilating that I woke up my sleeping SO. I refuse to watch it again.
PS I love You (the part when she is listening to his voice on the voicemail machine over and over)

So many people have already mentioned ones that make me cry so I will say the one that I always think I have grown up enough to watch it without crying, but it NEVER WORKS!
-Hocus Pocus!!!!! I can’t take it when Binks dies and says “I will always be with you” to Danny! Every Halloween I cry!!!!
Lame I know, but all the rest have been said!!!

Hachi, I sob I mean sob everytime. Its based on a true story and it envolves a dog’s unconditional love, enough said.
Toy Story Three, when he lives for collage, gets me every time. Makes me think of my children who are growing up way too fast.
