I can’t believe I forgot one of my favorite movies!

The Outsiders!

When Dally is shot by the police and all of the guys are running towards him screaming “Noooo!” and “He’s just a kid!”

Another one I don’t think has been mentioned: the ending of “Paulie”. It leaves me a happy sobbing wreck.

A Little Princess… when her father doesn’t recognize her and she’s pleading to him to not let the police take her away. Oh my god, I die.

I am Legend made me cry about three times! When he was at the video store…I didn’t expect to cry in that movie.

Freedom Writers gets me going. UP made me cry at least three times…

A beautiful Indian movie, Dor, also gets me.I cried for about an hour after watching that. I also did that after watching Rang de Basanti.  the Iranian movie Children of Heaven is lovely.

 I try to avoid blatantly sad movies b/c crying is so draining (also, ugly crier here). All the ones listed here were surprises.

Le Miserables. My Fiance took me to the movies to see it and argh…I hate, hate, hate sad movies. I spent the whole movie choking back my snot and tilting my head in the hope that my body would miraculously re-absorb the lake of tears that was carrying my mascara to my clevage! And did I pack enough tissues?….of course not, Kleenex could have made their yearly profit on the amount of their tissues that I needed that night. I ended up in the bathroom crying into one ply toilet paper.

1) Armageddon. I always cry at the ending when bruce willis sacrifices himself so that his daughter (acted by Liv Tyler) can be with her boyfriend (Ben Affleck). Not to mention Aerosmith’s song is tears inducing. “I Don’t Want to Miss A Thing”…

2) One Day. Starring Anne Hathway and Jim Sturgess. I always cry when Jim’s character falls apart after the love of his life (acted by Anne) dies. My favourite scene to bawl at is the one where his dad tries to talk sense into him while they are having dinners on a tray in front of the tv. His father said like “you got to keep going as if she’s still here. how do you think I survived the last 20 years without your mother?”

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, when everyone dies at the end, and Neville stands up to Voldemort! FEELINGS.

Also the endings of American History X, Sunshine, District 9 and As Good As It Gets.

@Miss Wellies:

Ah yes. The few times I remember my Dad talking about what he really missed about his dad, playing catch or running a few yards. 🙁

Life as a House.  I can recite the lines to it, but I cry every single time.
