cassidyrue : I think the coffee bean idea is super cute and my best friend did the same thing. The only thing that I disliked about it is most people don’t have a coffee grinder at home so the coffee beans actually just get thrown out or left behind. I would have LOVED ground coffee though!

nsimone27 : Whew! I was getting worried with the responses on here! 🙂 I would love it too! In fact we may have ordered too many and have to take them home (darn!) 🙂

MrsSMFC : Oh noooo! We’re doing succulents. But also a candy bar (like a bar with candy choices not a literal bar of Hersheys) So at least some win for everyone. LOL

sweatergal007 : If anyone wants to get grumpy about it and not take theirs home, you can adopt all the leftovers and make a mini succulent jungle 😉

Worst was a mini photo frame with the bride and grooms names and date of their wedding and the best weddings I’ve been to are the ones without favours

BEST: My friends had a characterist at the cocktail hour do 5 min drawings of all the guests on wedding stationary. ours is so good we had our framed. 🙂
WORST: a white, chocolate rose dyed barney purple. I only say its the worst because it was the worst one that ive gotten. so in the realm of bad, it’s not bad at all. it just wasnt my taste 🙂

Worst: mini stemless wine glasses, Mother-In-Law wanted them for our wedding, we talked her out of it
we did macaroons and booze lol
Pics for the hell of it:

The worst favors I think are the useless ones and the personalized ones.
I finally threw away the plastic spray painted pears that I got from a wedding, I have no idea why I kept them for over a year.

- Wedding: May 2016 - Estate at East Wind
I should start by saying other than mine I have only been to two other weddings. One I don’t even remember if there was a favor and if there was I either never took it or threw it out and forgot it. The other was my best friend who did the candy bar. It wasn’t exactly my cup of tea because while I have some specific candies I love, I am generally not a “candy” person, but she very much is so it was perfect for her and seemed to be pretty popular. Both she and I also had the photobooth which everyone loved.
For mine we did 2 piece boxes of Godiva truffles and DH’s aunt made homemade rum cake which was boxed up in individual sized-servings. People were trying to get extra boxes so I think they were a hit 😉

Worst: a magnet with a picture of the bride and groom and their wedding date
Best: Cookies. But reading people’s lists, I would absolutely love tea, a plant, hot sauce, or a bottle of liquor. Will keep these in mind for my wedding!

- Wedding: September 2015 - Hotel Ballroom
Best and worst were ironically the same type of favour.
Best: Custom printed M & M’s with the bride and grooms initials in little hand made sacks. The sacks were the right size for dice and Monopoly game pieces.
Worst: A single truffle that had gone completely stale It was rock hard on the outside, and the inside filling smelled foul! I didn’t just get a ‘dud’. A lot of the guests tried to eat them at the reception and were grossed out. The bride was REALLY embarassed!

rusticglambride : Where did you get the macaroons? Love that idea!

Worst- CD of random songs, Jordan Almonds (but my mom LOVES those candies)
Best- Lindt truffles. I tend to win the floral centerpieces, which is probably the best I’ve received.
