I need to make our website and go ahead and have people looking at it… I want to add in our story (how we met), first date, and some special moments along the way. I would also add in the engagement and the registry. Whats a great “free” wedding website location to do this?
I would like to get it posted by this week. Have you chosen/ currently using a site? Easy to learn? Fun. Would you suggest me actually doing a website in the first place?

After looking at most of the options, I created ones on Project Wedding and Wedding Wire to see which I’d like. I wound up liking Project Wedding best because I could use a very simple URL and it was easy to organize.

Ours was made on wedding wire, and I’m pretty happy with it. The standard format I chose to use was really simple to edit, and looks much fancier than I actually know how to do. 🙂 And it had a lot of free applications to add (searching for flights, car rentals, weather, for example).
My only complaint is limited number of font choices. But, that’s just a minor complaint.

We used mywedding.com and couldnt be happier with it!

I used http://www.weddingmapper.com and its AMAZING.
I think we registered at 5 different sites before settling on this one. Its really easy to design and customize.

I did ours on blogger. as long as you have basic computer skills and some time to play around with it, I think it’s a great option. You can check out ours: http://www.kelseyheartsmatty.com
We didn’t do “our story” but you can customize the pages to whatever you want.
If you have any questions let me know.

It works if you type the address into your address bar instead of clicking the link! I don’t know why the link isn’t working. :-/ I really like your site though, @Doodle

I am using wedding wire and I love it. I know a lot of friends who used mywedding and project wedding and have heard no complaints. I don’t think you can go wrong with any of them.

I used blogger as well. I just couldn’t find something that I wanted that wasn’t generic, so I used a template from blogger and customized it to how I wanted it to be.
PM me if you’re interested in seeing it.

Weddingwire.com is awesome. Its is extremely user friendly with tons of layouts. I like it because the website has everything. It lets you manage your guest list, online rsvp’s, budget, seating chart for all events, and to do checklist. Its awesome. One stop shop
