Wilson2Bee:  September practically is fall, in my opinion. I think you’re over thinking this, that dress will be just as adorable in October as it will be in September. You could also add a cute sweater if you like.

We did our engagement pictures (in a park) in September. I wore a red cotton and cream lace top, denim mini-skirt, and brown leather ankle boots. The shoes actually didn’t photograph that well in my opinion, but oh well. I love our pictures.

I’ve seen engagement photo sessions done in every season. Depending on where you live, Sept. and Oct. are still fairly warm. But as the PP said, you can always add a cute cardigan. That dress would look really good against the fall foliage, by the way.

Any season can look beautiful but you might want to consider choosing a season that’s different from the one you’re getting married in so you can have some variety. I’m getting married in summer and we actually decided to have 2 sets of photos done one in fall and one in spring.

I think pictures can be done in any season. I have had friends do them in the middle of winter and laying in the snow with just a long sleeve shirt on, or laying down on an ice rink with just a sweatshirt (themed for hockey).

I think that dress would be suitable for all seaons. Like people have already posted – you could add a jacket or cardigan to it for a different look, too.

We just did ours last weekend,, but we gfot engaged in February and will marry in October. I just didn’t want it to be too hot when the pics were done, and it was a perfect day.
