Steam mop. I hate mopping and have always found that I’d have to mop twice to get floors clean. I bought a Bissell steam mop last year and now find the task much easier.

Carpet spot cleaner. I have cats. My cats throw up from time to time. I also have carpet. I bought a bissell one and really like it. I usually spot clean with it once a month and this helps reduce how often I need to get the carpets professionally cleaned and keeps them looking good. I find this appliance to only be necessary if you find yourself dealing with stains regularly.

I also have many items to help keep things organized that I love. I have the little plastic storage containers with drawers in my bathroom for my beauty supplies and in my linen closet for extra products. I have under the bed shoe storage organizer bag thing that is awesome as well.

Agree with a ton of the stuff already mentioned! I’ll add:

– shop vacuum (great for the car, big messes)

– huge stack of microfiber towels for cleaning everything

– Alligetter (extendable arm with LED light and pincher at the bottom, awesome for getting things from behind the dryer)

– side table that can extend over the side of the couch.

– Rubbermaid bins in the basement for sorting recycling and garbage

1. An instant pot which gets used probably twice a week (minimum).

2. Fancy food processor which has lots of different attachments for blending, grating, chopping etc. Use this at least once a day.

A Phillips wake-up light alarm clock. Fi and I are both night owls and heavy sleepers that abuse our snooze button privelages, so we got one, and it’s a game changer. It wakes you up gradually with an artificial sunrise (orange to white lights that grow brighter) and the sounds of birds chirping, so you’re not all groggy when you get up. It’s glorious.

We don’t have one, but our friends recently recieved a Google Home device and they say it’s really useful.

pinkprincess88 : Philips airfryer…..I so love it! Its perfect for the two of us for dinner and its so so quick to cook dinner in. I find myself planning my dinners just so I can use it! Our electricity bill dropped down 80 dollars in the first month of owning it! Didn’t realize I used so much power just cooking dinner in the  electric oven and on our  electric stove top.

I also love our tefal steam iron. I whizz through ironing because it is so good.

GTech Air ram cordless vacuum cleaner! Well, it was a wedding present from my Nan not something we bought ourselves, but it’s so light, and small, and quiet! I hated lugging the massive vacuum around the house and tripping on the cable.

A food processor. It makes pasta, soup, rice, meat, bread, fish, vegetable stock while I’m busy taking care of something else.

Dishwasher.  My new best friend – Fiance and I both get home at around 7.30 (if we get out of work on time – we both often leave late and both work a lot from home in the evenings) and by the time we catch up, cook dinner etc the last thing either of us can face is washing up.

After the wedding we’re hoping to hire a cleaner maybe once a month to help us keep on top of things.  May mother thinks it’s the most rediculious thing and that we’re just being lazy.

The wonder of our age: the heated mattress pad.  My feet?  Are never cold in bed.
